The Purito Defence Barrier pH Cleanser is a gentle, non-irritating formula that is great for all skin types. It is especially recommended for those with dry skin, as its low pH of 5.5 does not disturb your skin’s natural acid mantle. Acid mantle is a very thin, acidic film on your skin’s surface that helps protect it from harmful contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, and pollutants. High pH cleansers can strip this acid mantle, leading to the tight, squeaky-clean feeling on your skin. The Purito Defence Barrier pH Cleanser contains Tea tree Leaf Oil, Centella Asiatica extract, and Grapefruit Extract to gently cleanse your skin.

PURITO is a combined word of “Purify” and “To”(comes from a Chinese character, 土 meaning “Soil”).

“Purify” means to purify their natural ingredients to create safe and clean products.

“To” means to go back to basics to strengthen and repair collapsed skin barriers.

Q&A

1) Why should I wash with a mildly acidity cleanser?

The dermis and epidermis (skin barrier) with weak acidity may be damaged by alkaline cleanser. When the skin barrier breaks down, the skin becomes dry, which accelerates aging, and causes itching due to dead skin cells. Therefore, you need to wash your skin with a weak acidic cleanser, the most comfortable cleanser for your skin.

2) Do I need to wash my face with a cleanser in the morning?

As there is a saying, “Only wash with water in the morning”, a weak acidic cleanser is most comfortable for your skin, as it gently awakes skin cells from sleep. To clean sebum secreted during sleep, thorough cleansing with a high-quality cleanser is the best way to main skin health.

3) Can I remove the makeup without the 2nd facial cleansing?

While it is a mild ingredient with effective cleansing power, you need the First Point Makeup remover to remove the makeup. The PURITO pH cleanser contains Centella Asiatica extract and royal jelly extract. The cleanser is for the second cleansing procedure to soothe skin irritated during the first step of cleansing and thoroughly remove the makeup residue.

4) I am concerned about its weak detergency which is a disadvantageous part of a weak acid cleanser.

The skin barrier, which is easily damaged by alkaline cleanser, leading to dryness and peeling, should certainly be protected by a weak acid cleanser. But it can be troublesome to use due to weaknesses in foaming and cleaning functionality. The PURITO pH cleanser is a gentle cleanser that thoroughly cleanses the sebum in pores with abundant foam, so as to supplement disadvantages for a fresh feeling after cleansing.

5) Moisturizing cleansers can be uncomfortable because they don’t create a clean feeling. What about PURITO cleanser? Is that because of the cleaning ingredient?

The pH cleanser is the secondary facial cleanser. The cleansing ingredients thoroughly cleanse impurities and moisturize with Centella extract, Tee Tree Leaf oil, and Royal Jelly extract. It strengthens the skin barrier for a soft, moist finish with no pulling sensation.
